I’m convinced New Austin was based on Colorado, from the plains, to the desert, to the mountains, to the big city.

I recently took a trip to Colorado and when I was out in the woods I kept hearing the sounds of the bears and cougars from Red Dead Redemption echoing around in my head.  It made me really paranoid.
